We would like to welcome our 2nd Maltese estate agency SEO client aboard, as our first one, www.maltesepropertyfinders.com have joined up with www.paradisepropertymalta.com and explained to them the benefits of aligning their website to their customer’s search phrases, to get more targeted traffic hence more leads, inquiries, and ultimately sales.

This partnership between two of the most experienced realtors on the Islands will allow them to bring a greater level of local and market knowledge, experience, and ultimately customer service, to their property services in Malta & Gozo to the benefit of all their customers.

We just started on the site 3 days ago, and as always you wont see very much difference, except where you find it in Google results, and what you find it for.

SEO Malta SERP Experiment - Geo Ranking Factors

Hello all and sorry for the long delays between posts.

So just to let you know that our offsite blog experiment project (this blog) is going well, and we’re firmly onto the front page for “SEO Malta” in less than 2 months, and with only a handful of relevant links.

This mini-site was built in 30 minutes by the sbs sniper team to rank specifically for the phrase “SEO Malta”, to compare www.seo-malta.com a US hosted .com, targeted to “Malta” in Google Webmaster Tools, against an established .com.mt domain, hosted in Malta.

The seo-malta site is also PR3 and has considerably more linkstrength than this brand new mini-sniper site, which is showing a grand total of 3 external links.

I think we can fairly safely say that local subdomain tlds and local hosting (along with a healthy dose of Maltese ranking authority) gives significantly better results than relying on Google’s geo targeting.

There are still valid seo sites 5 pages back in this search and yet this sniper site was on the first page in less than 2 months.

I think we’re going to enjoy it here

Hi all and welcome to our new offsite blog. It’s a bit of an experiment to compare .com.mt domain rankings against our own newish website on Malta-based Google searches over time.
